If you come by car

The travel time from Nagasaki IC, Fukuoka IC, and Kumamoto IC to Ureshino IC, and access from Ureshino IC to Banshokaku Shikishima. It takes about 35 minutes from Nagasaki IC, about 70 minutes from Fukuoka IC, and about 90 minutes from Kumamoto IC to Ureshino IC. It takes about 10 minutes on public roads from Ureshino IC.

If you come by train

Access Banshokaku Shikishima from Nagasaki Station or Hakata Station via Ureshino Onsen Station. It takes about 25 minutes from Nagasaki Station by Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen, or about 60 minutes by express train from Hakata Station. At Takeo Onsen Station, transfer to the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen Kamome and head to Ureshino Onsen Station in about 7 minutes. From there, it's about a 7-minute drive.

If you come by plane

Access information from Fukuoka Airport to Banshokaku Shikishima: Take the subway Kuko Line to Hakata Station (approx. 6 minutes), then the express train to Takeo Onsen Station (approx. 60 minutes), or the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen Kamome to Ureshino Onsen Station (approx. 7 minutes), then a 10-minute drive. Alternatively, take the reservation-only Kyushu Express Bus from Fukuoka Airport International Terminal (approx. 90 minutes), then an 8-minute walk from the Ureshino Onsen Bus Center, or a 10-minute drive from Ureshino IC.

Access to Banshokaku Shikishima from Saga Airport: Approximately 35 minutes by city bus to Saga Station, approximately 40 minutes on the Sasebo Line to Takeo Onsen Station, approximately 7 minutes on the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen Kamome to Ureshino Onsen Station, and then approximately 10 minutes by car. Alternatively, you can make a reservation in advance to take a jumbo taxi for a direct ride of approximately 60 minutes to Ureshino Onsen.

Access from Nagasaki Airport to Banshokaku Shikishima: Take the Saihi Bus to Sonoki Honmachi bus stop (approx. 30 minutes), then take the JR Kyushu Bus to Ureshino Onsen Bus Center (approx. 25 minutes), then walk for approx. 8 minutes.
